He's Crawling!!

After weeks of rocking back and forth, Sean finally took off and crawled! He was really starting to get frustrated with himself, the fact that he couldn't get his back legs to move at the same time as his arms. It was like a switch being flipped. One day he couldn't crawl, the next day he took off! Amazing! Mommy was so proud to witness this that you would have thought Sean made his first touchdown! We are so glad to see Sean in much happier spirits now that he can get around all by himself!

Happy Sean!

Labor Day '09

This past Labor day weekend, we went back home to Baird to spend time with family. It's always a big weekend for the boys since it's the beginning of dove season. We also enjoyed getting our last swim in for the summer at my parents pool. Sean had a blast seeing Gram and Papa, along with aunt Dana. All in all, it was so good to be able to enjoy a wonderful three-day weekend along with being outdoors!

Sean's So Happy it's Football Season!

Sean and daddy are getting SO excited about Aggie football! Daddy is already teaching Sean everything he needs to know about the game. Jim is also happy he has a buddy to watch all the games with. Here's some sweet pictures of Sean gearing up for football season!

Seven Months!

Sean is growing up before our eyes! In just the past month, he has changed so much. Last week he began rolling from his back to his tummy and started getting into the crawl position. In a matter of weeks he will be on the move! We better enjoy this stage while it last;)
Sean is also beginning to be such a good eater, and mommy is having so much fun making all of his baby food! If he continues to keep up this appetite, he is going to be one BIG boy! Another thing that Sean has really enjoyed over the summer is swimming in his baby pool. He absolutely loves the water, and that is usually one trick always makes Sean happy!
Sean is getting more and more fun the older he gets. We just can't get enough of his precious personality, and of course, his adorable smile!
He's finally getting big enough for his chair!

What a big boy...

Vacation 2009!

For our little summer vacation this year we drove to Graham, Texas to a little ranch resort. It was the perfect distance from home since we were taking sweet little Sean, who doesn't like to ride in the car for long:) We had so much fun getting away from the busy life of the city and enjoying the beautiful countryside. We absolutely loved our rustic cabin that had a back porch and rocking chairs that overlooked the beautiful hills. Each day we enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets along with listening to the crickets and seeing the stars from the view on our porch. We also had to dodge a few skunks each night, which was quite exciting! I, of course, really enjoyed the pool, that had the most amazing view you have ever seen. Mom and I had fun feeding the longhorns, while Jim and dad got to do an ATV tour and some skeet shooting. We were so happy to have my parents join us to help keep the baby while Jim and I got to spend some time together. We also ate at their well-known steakhouse and enjoyed all the bands that sang out on the patio each night. It was the perfect getaway that we have so desperately needed!
