Sean has an adorable brown chair that was given to us before he was born. In the past month or so, Sean has grown very fond of it. Here are a few cute pictures of Sean in his chair...

Sean’s Birthday Week!
I want to catch everyone up to speed on what we have been up to the past few weeks. The week after Sean turned one, I started back working three days a week, while Sean started day care. This has been a huge adjustment, considering I have been home with Sean for the past year. It’s been amazing, because Jim and I, and others, started seeing huge improvements in Sean’s behavior only after a couple of days of him being at day care. Yay! I have been a very happy mommy now knowing that I had made the right decision going back to work part-time. He has become much more independent and content, which is a huge blessing. Along with daycare…well…comes sickness. A week after Sean started, he got a virus that led into a double ear infection. Not only did Sean get it, but so did mommy. Baby and mommy sick at the same time, is no fun:( Thankfully daddy escaped the sickness. So that’s what we have been up to and why we are so behind on our post. Now, on with all the birthday festivities…
What a great birthday week we had celebrating a one-derful year with Sean Wheeler Scott. We celebrated his actual birthday by taking Sean to the “Story Time” at the Coppell Library, which Sean just loved! Another fun part of the day was meeting my co-workers for lunch at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Sean also enjoyed taking a birthday stroll around the neighborhood, but the party hat didn’t stay on for long. The highlight of the day was watching Sean make a mess eating his first cupcake. We ended the night with a fun birthday bath to clean off all the icing!
Sean’s party was so much fun celebrating with all our family. Sean received so many great gifts that have kept him SO entertained! His favorite gift that he seems to keep going back to is his “Circus Train Walker” that uncle Brad, aunt Shanna and his cousins gave him. He’s also loving all the “Chuck Trucks” that he got, along with the books and his pretend Veterinary kit. Over all, we had an awesome week celebrating and reflecting back on the amazing year we have had!
