Sean's First Time to Meet Santa!

We took Sean to see Santa last weekend at Bass Pro Shops, and he did so good!  We were pleasantly surprised that there were no tears from Mr. Sean, since he was scared to death of all the pumpkins last month:)  Sean seemed to especially love all the fuzzy material on Santa's coat, which I believe kept him from bursting out into tears.  Either way, mommy was just glad to get a semi-decent picture of her baby boy sitting on Santa's lap!

Thanksgiving on the Ranch

This year we had a great time spending Thanksgiving on the ranch in Baird with both of our families.  We had a wonderful fried turkey that my dad made and amazing side dishes that made the meal complete.  Sean had so much fun on his first Thanksgiving getting to be outside and seeing all the animals on the ranch.  He also got to take his very first horse ride with uncle Blan, which he absolutely loved!  This year we have so much to be thankful for including our precious baby boy, our health, our wonderful family that show us unconditional love on a daily basis, and most of all, for the hope we have in Christ Jesus!

Uncle Odom took the camera out early Thanksgiving morning and captured

Daddy's 30th Birthday

We had so much fun celebrating Jim's 30th birthday on November 3rd!  It was even more special this birthday having daddy's little buddy there to help unwrap gifts.  We had a great evening eating delicious lasagna and opening up gifts.  Happy birthday Jim, to a wonderful husband and daddy to Sean Wheeler!

Halloween Fall Festival 09'

Sean had a great first Halloween spending it at the Fall Festival at our church.  He got to see all his "older" friends that love to entertain and help take care of him.  Sean had so much fun seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes and playing all the games.  This year Sean laid low in his stroller with his bottle and dreamed of how good all that Halloween candy would taste:). He's looking forward to next year when he can enjoy all the fun games and make himself sick on the yummy candy!

Sean's Precious Laugh...

Pumpkin Patch Time!!

We were so excited to take Sean to his first pumpkin patch this year.  Unfortunately...Sean had other plans and he wasn't too sure about all those round orange things.  After a lot of work and patience, we finally got two shots of Sean's sweet little smile.

Eight Months and into Everything...

Sean is on-the-move and into everything these days!  He loves discovering new things around the house and playing with anything besides his toys.  He finally got his first tooth in, which wasn't as bad as we were anticipating.  Some of the things that makes Sean smile these days are: seeing daddy when he comes home, eating Cheerio's, watching Cocoa and Chui, walking with mommy and daddy's help, and meeting new people.  Here are a few pictures of what Sean has been up to...

Forget the toys...this box is much more interesting...

He's Crawling!!

After weeks of rocking back and forth, Sean finally took off and crawled! He was really starting to get frustrated with himself, the fact that he couldn't get his back legs to move at the same time as his arms. It was like a switch being flipped. One day he couldn't crawl, the next day he took off! Amazing! Mommy was so proud to witness this that you would have thought Sean made his first touchdown! We are so glad to see Sean in much happier spirits now that he can get around all by himself!

Happy Sean!

Labor Day '09

This past Labor day weekend, we went back home to Baird to spend time with family. It's always a big weekend for the boys since it's the beginning of dove season. We also enjoyed getting our last swim in for the summer at my parents pool. Sean had a blast seeing Gram and Papa, along with aunt Dana. All in all, it was so good to be able to enjoy a wonderful three-day weekend along with being outdoors!
