6 Years!

On the 24th, Jim and I celebrated six wonderful years of marriage! Our relationship goes back fourteen years, when we started dating in high school. Jim and I grew up together and have known each other all of our lives. It is so amazing how God placed my soul mate right before my eyes when I was such a young girl. God is so great!! I am blessed with a wonderful husband who I continue to love more and more each year!

were suppose to be that day...maybe Pilgrims and Indians;)

Four Months Old!

This past week, Sean turned four months old!! He had his checkup with his pediatrician and two dreadful shots he had to get:( He is healthy as could be and growing like crazy. Sean's four month stats are...14 lbs and 26.38 inches tall. Sean is in the 95% height wise and the 50% weight wise. As you will see, he had a fun time checking himself out in the mirror while we were waiting on the doctor...it was too cute!! Mommy had a great time getting pictures of him while he was in a good mood and before the shots!

Graduation Day!!!

After a long hard road, I finally graduated last weekend from Texas Women's University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I started this long journey five years ago when Jim and I were living in Houston. It was at that time when I decided to go back to school and get my bachelors degree in hygiene. In 2001, I received an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and I have been practicing in dental offices ever since. I wanted to finish out my degree so that I could be able to teach in a dental hygiene school clinical setting, which I would like to do one day. So, after driving to Denton and taking many night courses, getting through a big health scare, and having a baby, I finally finished! Thank you Lord for getting me through the past three years! I also appreciate my dear husband and family so much for all the love and support they have given me throughout this journey.

The Best Mother's Day Ever!!!

My first Mother's Day couldn't have been any better! It was such a blessing to have all our family in town to celebrate Sean's baby dedication and Mother's day. Last Mother's Day when I was pregnant, I thought about how awesome it would be to dedicate our precious son on my first Mother's Day. So, here we are, one year later. What a glorious day it was for our entire family!

Sean's New Tricks!

1st Trick: I have learned how to come out of the bouncer when mommy doesn't buckle me in. In this picture I'm still watching my favorite "Brainy Baby" video even though I'm in the floor. Mommy was scared to death when she found me like this...

2nd Trick: I'm learning how to grab my toys now!

Yes...how can I help you??

Here, I 'm checking out my toys on my play mat. I've been doing this trick for a while now...

3rd Trick: Sitting in my bumbo seat.

I wasn't so sure about this thing at first...

I realized it wasn't so bad after all!

4th Trick: Holding my bottle
Mommy has been working with me to hold my bottle,
but I still have some practicing to do;)
Here's me holding it for a few seconds!
Stay tuned for more tricks that I'm working on!
Love you,
Sean Wheeler
